Plot: After crashing his girlfriend’s car while drunk driving, disgraced former NFL football player Paul Crewe (Sandler) is sent to prison. All he wants to do is serve his time and go home. But the Warden (Cromwell), a big football fan himself, has other ideas. He wants to pit his prison guards football team against the inmates in a pre-season warm-up game -and he thinks that Crewe is the one to put together the prisoners’ team. If Crewe’s team of misfits wins, he’ll upset the Warden – and in this prison, that’s one thing you don’t want to do. If his team loses, the inmates will probably kill him. With choices like that, this game is going to be the longest four quarters of his life. A remake of the 1974 film by the same name.
