★★★★½ Star Trek (2009)

Plot: While investigating a ferry disaster on the Mississippi, New Orleans’ ATF Agent Doug Carlin (Washington) is assigned to a special task force that uses newfound technology to look 4 days into the past. As the team focuses on Claire (Patton), a victim who may lead them to the person responsible for the disaster, Doug wonders if he may be able to go back and save Claire, the dead woman he is falling in love with.

Plot: It’s Chicago, 2035, and robots are everywhere…but Det. Spooner (Smith) has a thing against robots, despite the 3 Laws of Robotics that protect humans. When USR, the biggest robotic manufacturer in the world, populates almost every home in the world with it’s newest robot version, however, one robot seemingly breaks the 3 Laws…and suddenly humanity’s chances aren’t looking very good. Loosely based on Isaac Asimov’s collection of short stories by the same name.
