Plot: While in Africa, World Health Organization doctor Eva (Cruz) discovers a mysterious disease is infecting the people. Determined to discover the source of this plague, she hitches a ride to war-torn Mali with Dirk Pitt, a treasure seeker working for N.U.M.A. – The National Underwater and Marine Agency.
