With a winning line-up this year at their Movie Awards show that includes Twilight, High School Musical 3 and Hannah Montana: The Movie, everyone can guess who the main audience for MTV is nowadays. And the winners are…

With Hugh Jackman livening the show up a bit thanks to some memorable dance routines and a duet with Beyonce, this year’s Oscar® night was something actually worth checking out.

Now without further ado, the winners….

Once again, the Hollywood Foreign Press hosted an extravaganza of glitz, glamor and celebrities in their yearly Golden Globes Awards Show. While Slumdog Millionaire cleaned up, Kate Winslet took home a pair of awards, Heath Ledger got his expected posthumous award and Mickey Rourke picked up his first award in years, showcasing once again that 2008 was the year of the comeback.

Plot: With the help of Lieutant Gordon (Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Eckhart), Batman (Bale) sets out to break up the remaining criminal elements in Gotham. This partnership proves effective…until a reign of chaos is unleashed by a new rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker (Ledger).

Heath Ledger was found dead today in an apartment in the SoHo district of Manhattan. At this time, the police have no reason to suspect foul play. He was 28.

Plot: Alex (Ledger) is a priest. When his mentor Father Dominic (Carnelutti) dies under mysterious circumstances in Rome, Alex goes to investigate. He discovers Dominic had a visit from a “Sin-Eater” (Furmann) – an ancient being who can absorb a person’s sins before they die, sending them to Heaven with a clean conscience. When Alex comes face to face with this Sin-Eater, he must decide his own fate – as well as the fate of those he cares for most.

Plot: A young man (Combs) sits on death row, awaiting execution. Around him are Hank (Thornton) and Sonny (Ledger), father and son guards and Leticia (Berry) his wife, and her son. After the young man is executed, everyone must get on with their lives, no matter how hard that may be.
