Plot: While shadowing a LA fire station, television reporter Angela Vidal (Carpenter) and her cameraman (Harris) respond to a 911 call from a small apartment building. They soon discover that one of the residents has been infected by something unknown. As the infection spreads, they try to escape – only to discover the CDC has cut off all escape routes in order to contain the contagion. When the quarantine is lifted, the news crew’s video tape is the only evidence of what took place.

Plot: An interracial couple (Washington and Wilson) move into their dream home, only to become the target of their LAPD cop neighbor (Jackson). His nightly patrols and constant watchfulness bring comfort to some, but his increasing harrassment of the couple leads them to finally fight back, with deadly consequences.

Plot: Paxton (Hernandez) and Josh (Richardson) are two Americans backpacking through Europe with Oli (Gudjonsson), an Icelander they’ve met along the way. Looking for women, they take someone’s advice and check out a hostel in Slovakia. Unfortunately for them, in this hostel, they aren’t guests – they’re victims.

Plot: Jack Morrison (Phoenix) is a Maryland firefighter, trapped in a burning building. As his friends and fellow firefighters try to reach him, he relives his firefighting career: from his first day as a rookie, to meeting his wife, having kids, and doing what he loves: fighting fires. But, after all he’s been through, will this be his last firefight?

Plot: Gary Gaines (Thornton) is a coach of a local Texas high school football team. There’s a lot riding on this season, because, in Texas, football isn’t just a game – it’s a way of life. All hopes for the season lie with star player Boobie Miles (Luke). But when he’s sidelined early on, will Coach Gaines be able to bring his team to a victorious season anyway? Based on the book by H. G. Bissinger about the 1988 season of the Permian Panthers.

Plot: When Ford (Henderson) returns to town looking for his old girlfriend Shane (Mazur). bike gang leader, Henry (Schulze), looking for revenge, frames Ford for the death of the brother of rival bike gang leader Trey (Cube). Now, Ford has to prove his innocence as fast as he can – before he winds up dead.
