Plot: Echo (Dushku) is an “Active,” a member of a highly illegal and underground group who have had their personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with any number of new personas. Confined to a secret facility known as “The Dollhouse,” Echo and her fellow “Actives” carry out engagements that cater to the wealty, powerful and connected. After each assignment, she is returned to “The Dollhouse” to have her memory wiped – but the memory wipe isn’t working as well as it used to.

Plot: 500 years in the future, rogue spaceship captain Mal (Fillion) has been letting Simon (Maher) and his sister River (Glau) stay on his ship since Simon rescued River from the Alliance, the all-powerful government of the worlds.
