Plot: When his ex-wife (Otto) drops off the kids for the weekend, Ray (Cruise) doesn’t expect it to be any more difficult than usual. When Ray goes to investigate an unusual lightning strike, he discovers an enormous three-legged robot rising out of the ground – and destroying everyone it sees. Plot: While Frodo (Wood) and Samwise (Astin) continue onward towards Mordor, they encounter Gollum, one of the previous owners of the ring of power. Meanwhile, Aragorn (Mortenson), Legolas (Bloom) and Gimli (Rhys-Davies) search for the two missing hobbits leads them to Gandalf (McKellen), who has been reborn as Gandalf the White. He leads them to the kingdom of Rohan, where the king is besieged by dark forces. So begins the second film of the trilogy…
