“24″

“24″ has become must-see TV for me since I watched an A&E marathon a few years ago. This action-packed show has brought Kiefer Sutherland into the limelight once again, and once you watch, you’ll know why.

Each second of every episode is so full of pulse-pounding intrigue, danger and excitement – and more intense than anything I’ve ever seen on a television show.

With new twists and turns popping up all over the place, “24″ has become one show that will keep the viewer locked-in until the end…not of the episode, but of the series as a whole.

I can’t say enough about this show. It has become easily my favorite show on television. Last season the producers shocked loyal viewers once again by proving that they aren’t shy about killing off even regular cast members on the show.

Probably the biggest annoyance of the show is that it’s only on once a week! At least there’s some good news: unlike other shows, once the season begins, there is a new episode every week until the season is finished.

Just as an example of how addicting “24″ is: I recently bought Season 1 on DVD. Rather than being able to watch just one episode a day (which seems a bit excessive), I finished the season in one weekend. I just couldn’t stop watching. And that was arguably the weakest season so far.

Be prepared. Once you start watching this amazing show, you won’t be able to stop.

UPDATE: The new season sounds kind of odd, I must say. Tony is back from the dead, and Jack is on trial for past crimes committed by CTU. So basically, CTU is gone (but hopefully Mary Lynn Rajskub and pals will still be around), there’s a woman president (can you say Hilary Clinton?) and Jack is going up against an old friend. Odd, but knowing “24″, it’s going to be more of the pulse-pounding excitement viewers have come to expect! I can’t wait for the 4-hour premiere January 11/12th!
