“Numb3rs”

Since the crime show has become somewhat of a cliche these days, new series are always looking for ways to make their show unique. “C.S.I.” uses the field of forensics to solve it’s cases (which lead to a slew of imitators), and “Numb3rs” uses mathematical probabilites.

While some of the show’s excitement is still from the ‘whodunit’ aspect of any crime show, a large part is in discovering how Charlie is going to use math to help this time. Thankfully, the viewer doesn’t have to understand higher math to get the show, as Charlie explains what he’s trying to do in simpler terms that everyone can understand.

With a great ensemble cast, including Judd Hirsch, Peter MacNicol and Diane Farr, the interactions between each of the characters keeps viewers coming back as much as finding the new ‘whodunit’ every week.

Check it out, and see if you don’t become a big fan of “Numb3rs” also.
