Plot: Shawn Spencer (Roday) has convinced the police he’s a psychic, when actually he just has impressive observational skills, honed over the years by his ex-cop father (Corbin Bernsen). With the reluctant help of his best friend Gus (Hill), he helps the police solve their cases.

Why We Watch:
Kicking off it’s 1st season in the summer of 2006, this became a hit in our house almost immediately. The banter between Dule and James is outstanding – as is the one-upmanship between James and the real cops – and the setups (from a spelling bee to a civil war re-enactment) lead James and Dule into some hilarious situations.
This one is funny from the get-go – and the outtakes at the end of each episode just add to the fun.
